Keshvar stellt auf ihrem Webstuhl eine uralte, geheimnisvolle Textilie her. Zu ihren Kindern in die Stadt möchte sie nicht ziehen, lieber bleibt sie allein. Es heißt, aufgrund ihrer Einsamkeit webt Keshvar die schönsten Teppiche weit und breit. Sie erzählt die Geschichte einer Fee und eines Hirten, die eines Tages in ihr Dorf kamen. In dieser Erzählung verschwimmt die Legende von der berühmten Weberin Parizad mit ihrem eigenen Leben.
PARIZAD widmet sich in kraftvollen Bildern einem uralten Handwerk, dessen spirituelle Bedeutung in Vergessen geraten zu scheint. Zwei Charaktere aus verschiedenen Zeiten und Realitäten werden stimmungsvoll und in geschickt erzeugter Spannung miteinander verwoben.

BIOGRAPHY
Mehdi Imani Shahmiri was born on April 3, 1988 in Iran. Mehdi Imani holds a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking and a master’s degree in television production. He works in the field of research and writing, as well as directing and producing documentaries and feature films.
