Geuzenveld is a part of Amsterdam in Holland, where many Turks and Moroccans live together. Many of these women are locked up in their houses and feel depressed. One day the organization Be interactivestarted a running course. They started at the primary schools where the mothers meet. From there they started to run. Sometimes secretly… It looks like a simple thing but it is not since in the eyes of many neighbors a good mother and a good Muslim should stay at home. Despite all comments the women went on with their activity. It is easy to imagine how the neighbors reacted when they decided to participate in a race in Casablanca for 30.000 women. For the first time in their lives they went without family to do something for themselves. One of the women who is running in the film is now the director of the running organization.
