Landscapes are marked by a past that goes far beyond the time of man. It is inscribed in the rivers, streams and lakes, in the mountains, the crevices of the rocks and in glaciers, in the meadows and fields. It is the memory of what they once were, where they came from, how they developed and where they are today. From disappearing glacier tongues to raging wildfires, the impact of man has become palpable.
VELHICE is reminiscent of the human impact on nature, which begins to speak to us from unknown spheres.

BIOGRAPHY
Anna-Maria Dutoit is a Greek-Swiss filmmaker, who was born in Pittsburg, PA. She studied in Political Science and Geography in Munich and has been studying documentary filmmaking at the University of Television and Film in Munich since 2019.
