PART OF THE GUEST PROGRAMME CURATED BY KATARINA HEDRÉN
Marcus, an Afroamerican actor, follows in the footsteps of Namibian hero Mandume Ya Ndemufay. Musician Anu is haunted by visions and out-of-body experiences and tries to find himself. Sara is depressed and unsure about whether life is still worth living.
Katjavivi’s feature-length debut THE UNSEEN is a rebellious, thoughtful, and humorous contemplation. Composed as a cross-over between documentary and feature, it follows three young people who are doing their best to come to terms with their existence and Namibia’s post-colonial legacy.
