In presence of Eneos Çarka
Mihály proudly shows off his daughter Réka’s artwork, which can be found all over the house among plants, on the ceiling, and in countless books. Home videos, photos, and slides tell of shared memories. A long time ago, when Réka fell seriously ill, contact between father and daughter suddenly broke off for unknown reasons. He was left only with memories.
While a rainbow forms in the water stream, the warm sunlight wraps banana trees, and blades of grass dance in the summer breeze, Eneos Çarka builds an abstract bridge between father and daughter. In picture collages, conversations, and letters, he sparks an abstract-surreal approach that magically brings the relationship to life.
