However, the reasons for Katja’s retirement are not the routine ones, and her life in a northern Finland city is not all bleak. There is a certain restlessness bubbling under her reserved appearance, and she channels her anxiety into drawings. This sensitive film captures one of the 50 000 shades of marginalization.
