The film crew of an imaginary TV station need nothing but a cardboard box as a camera and a water bottle as a lens to go out and as reporters mingle with the demonstrating students. What starts as a game soon turns into an urgent evocation of a longed-for new Sudan. SUDDENLY TV is a courageous film about civil rebellion that skillfully balances humour and seriousness.
