Metamorphosis of the Rorbu – a living museum catalogue is a visual essay about cultural change and a tribute to a bygone generation´s knowledge and interaction in the world. The main character is a fisherman from the Lofoten Islands. The story is set in his cabin and focuses on how he and four local fishermen breath life into old fishing objects that are found inside this ”rorbu” (fisherman´s cabin).
