Behind the Door is a film about change, hope, longing and support, and about finding the balance between holding on and at the same time letting go. The film is based on a filmed ethnographical field study, where Martin Svinkløv and Rune Bundgaard moves into a college dorm in Greenland. Here, a group of young people have moved far away from everything they know. Now they have to make the day-to-day life work, create a home for themselves and make their lives meaningful.
