Can the fear of death help us to free our bodies from the anxieties we experience in today’s world? MY ANXIOUS BODY is a poetic film about bodies that are incompatible with societal expectations. In a continuous monologue, director Kerttu Mättö reflects on her experiences with fear and her attempt to embody them in visual images.

Kerttu Mättö is studying documentary filmmaking at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. For Kerttu it is wonderful to explore and reconstruct the world in audiovisual stories.
