A short documentary about the interaction between human and machine in the current working environment in Germany. Long Live the Futurist follows the question: to what extent is our work engineered and how is this affecting the people? With examples of jobs like a founder, scientist, office worker, etc., the film looks for an answer which can’t be given. The workers themselves discuss their point of view regarding this question. Besides these statements, the workstations and workers are watched silently by the camera.
