Anne Chahine | Lebanon, Germany 2014 | 29 Min. | Omeu
Nine members of the art- and music-scene in Beirut engage in an intense dialogue, discussing what it means to live in a city, which offers its citizens everything and at the same time represents the origin of their biggest fears and sorrows: „You need to have lived here for a while, in order to comprehend this type of affection. It is truly strange – some sort of love-hate.“ Beirut in Two Words allows for the audience to reflect on their own perceptions of the region.
