REPLAY – KINDHEIT IN DER SANDKISTE

Five people share their memories on games they used to play as a child. Snippets from the interviews conducted serve as an initial point for this short animation film. “Replay” attempts to visually interpret the contents of those interviews and by doing so tries to bring the memories back to life. It does so by using a mix of analogue and digital 2D animation. The visual layer of the film connects with the stories told in a variety of ways and expends them both in content and emotion.
